Water Testing

Drinking, Irrigation and Process Water

Summit is certified by the state of Michigan as a water laboratory qualified to test drinking and surface water for companies, municipalities and residential customers. Our scientists use industry approved methodologies as well as the most current laboratory procedures available to date.

With Summit as your water testing laboratory, you’ll have confidence knowing you’re meeting all EPA, USDA, GFSI and other regulating agency requirements whether you need water testing analysis on an annual or more-frequent basis.

Summit will meet your needs in the following categories:

Drinking Water

Water in both public and private wells needs to be safe for consumption. In addition, public wells that serve 25 or more people are required by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to conduct annual water testing analysis. Summit gets it done. We’ll collect your sample or you can drop it off and receive results in one to two days.

Irrigation Water

Just as with drinking water, irrigation water must be considered safe for consumption. Annual water sampling for E.coli and pathogens is required by the EPA. In addition, farmers must adhere to GAP (good agricultural practices) set by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Summit is the water laboratory to turn to for all your water testing needs.

Process Water

Summit has experience analyzing process water in all types of facilities including food processing, packaging, pharmaceutical, automotive and more. Make Summit your water testing laboratory and you’ll always have peace of mind.
